Some interesting stuff went on today. Apparently somebody really hates my guts in Sacramento, which is both childish and irritating. Art Luna was kind enough to let me know that someone graffitied something very spiteful on his venue's bathroom wall about me, which "made him very angry." It was nice of him to let me know he disagreed, and to hear such words of encouragement. Like Art told me, I've worked very, very hard, and come such a long way through years of dedication, hard work and practice, practice, practice. Apparently some people like to disagree, although they don't know a cent about me, so I'm not sure why. Maybe someone's panties are in a bunch for not being recognized in the Sammies this year? Well, I didn't vote for me. You can't argue with the people, and they have certainly spoken. Lucky for me, most people in Sacramento are my friends, and aren't crazy people who hold grudges against 20-year-old folk/pop artists that they have never spoken to.
This is folk, not rap, people. Let's get our genres straight. Music fueds are so 2001. I wish whoever it was would just step into the light, finally, and stop hiding behind anonymous wall posts and inane scribbles. Although I'm not going to say I don't suspect anyone...I'm a fair artist. I don't name names.
